Is locally known as Kampuni ya Ndege Tanzania, Tanzania’s national flag carrier airline based in Dar es Salaam capital. Kampuni ya Ndege Tanzania has its hub at Julius Nyerere International Airport.

Air Tanzania was established in 1977 as Air Tanzania Corporation (ATC) after the dissolution of East African Airways and has been a member of the African Airlines Association since its inception.
